The second conference on Extremely High-Intensity Laser Physics (ExHILP) will be held at Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST) in Lisbon, Portugal, from 5th to 8th September 2017.

IST is a Science and Engineering School within the University of Lisbon, and aims to contribute to the development of society, promoting excellence in higher education, in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, Science and Technology by developing Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) activities.

ExHILP will be held at the Alameda Campus of IST, identified in the map below. Located in Alameda D. Afonso Henriques, this campus provides privileged access to Lisbon’s main points of interest. The public transport network allows quick travels to all points of the city. We advise, in particular, the use of the Lisbon underground. Both Saldanha and Alameda stations are within a 5 minute walk of the Alameda Campus of IST.

All oral presentation sessions of ExHILP will be held at the IST Congress Centre, within Pavilhão de Civil (see map below), whereas the poster session will be held at the Main Building Hall (within Pavilhão Central) of IST.
